We recognize that you entrust us with sensitive personal and financial information and are dedicated to safeguarding it. 

By using or accessing our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, you should not use our Services.

Who We Are
Overvue provides an online platform and related technology solutions that streamline the data collection process for Advisors and their Clients, making onboarding faster and more efficient. By gathering essential client information in a user-friendly manner, we enable Advisors and Clients to collaborate smoothly on financial planning, track assets, and gain actionable insights. Our Services include tools that allow Advisors to manage their practice seamlessly, while Clients benefit from a secure, organized system for sharing personal and financial information. We also support efficient communication, offer data analysis capabilities, and integrate with external accounts and services to deliver a cohesive, end-to-end financial experience.

What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Overvue collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our Services. It also describes your rights and choices regarding your personal information and how you can contact us with any questions or concerns.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that do not link to this Policy, or that are operated by others. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites or services you visit or use.

Defined Terms

  • Advisor: A business customer (e.g., financial institution, broker-dealer, registered investment advisor) that uses Overvue’s platform to provide financial services.

  • Client: An individual investor or household member who engages with an Advisor for their services and has been granted access to Overvue’s Services.

  • User: Both Advisors and Clients (and any person authorized to access our Services on their behalf) who have been granted access to use Overvue’s platform.

  • Personal Information: Any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to an individual, such as a name, address, email address, financial account information, or transaction history.

  • Financial Institution: Any entity engaged in financial or monetary transactions, products, or services, such as banks, credit unions, or broker-dealers.

Our Collection of Personal Information
We collect personal information in a variety of ways:

  • Information You Provide to Us Directly
    This may include your name, contact details (e.g., email address, telephone number), demographic data, and financial information (e.g., bank account details, transaction history). Content or messages sent to us when you request support, submit inquiries, or otherwise engage with Overvue staff.

    At the Client’s direction or at the direction of the Advisor, we may receive data feeds from financial institutions or other integrated service providers to facilitate account aggregation, authentication, and secure communications. These providers may share your personal information (e.g., name, address, account balances, transaction details) with us so we can deliver a unified financial view within Overvue’s platform. 

Our Use of Personal Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Improve Our Services
    We facilitate the creation and maintenance of Overvue services, enable Advisors & Clients to streamline data collection, and provide secure account aggregation. We also analyze and enhance our Services, tailoring them to meet your needs and ensure a high-quality user experience.

  • To Communicate with You
    We send technical or administrative communications (e.g., confirmations, policy updates), respond to inquiries, and deliver updates on new features or promotions in accordance with your preferences. Additionally,  We may leverage and share personal information with third-party messaging providers to facilitate email, text, or in-app notifications.

  • For Security and Fraud Prevention
    We verify user credentials, detect and investigate suspicious or malicious activities, and maintain safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of data.

  • To Comply with Legal Obligations
    We may use your information to satisfy any applicable legal or regulatory requirements, respond to lawful requests by authorities, or enforce our contractual rights.

  • For Internal Business Purposes

  • With Your Advisor or Authorized Third Parties
    Because our Services are designed to support Advisor-Client relationships, Advisors may view or access personal information a Client provides. As part of the Services, Overvue shares the aggregated financial data you provide with your designated Advisor(s) to support financial planning and advisory services. This includes all account information collected through integrations with third-party financial institutions, as well as any additional data you supply manually.

  • Service Providers / Contractors
    We engage third-party providers (for instance, those enabling account aggregation or communications) to help us operate, support, and protect our Services. These service providers process your personal information for the purposes described in this Policy.

  • Corporate Transactions
    In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of such a transaction.

  • Legal and Compliance
    We may disclose information to comply with the law or respond to lawful requests and legal processes, protect the rights and property of Overvue or others, or address security or fraud issues.
